Benefits of Veneers
Porcelain veneers treatment can give you a pearly white and picture-perfect smile. In addition to the aesthetic benefits, veneers can provide many other advantages as seen below.Straightening Teeth
Dental veneers can help correct minor to moderate misalignment. With dental veneers, it is possible to avoid the uncomfortable orthodontic treatment to correct aesthetic misalignment.Filling Gaps
Spacing between your teeth can be unattractive to many patients. Veneers can smooth out uneven spaces and close gaps, thereby providing a natural-looking and perfect smile.Repairing Damage
Damage to the enamel of your natural teeth might lead to cavities and fissures, which can weaken the tooth over time. Porcelain veneers are thin shells that get bonded directly to the tooth, providing strength and reinforcement for your natural enamel.Improving Hygiene
The gaps and cracks in your teeth, while appearing unappealing, are more than just a cosmetic issue. These may be decay danger zones, locations where food residue builds up over time, and brushing and flossing might miss. In addition, it’s easier to brush and floss efficiently after your veneers are placed because there are no longer any crevices for plaque to hide.

Do Porcelain Veneers Stain?
One of the benefits of porcelain veneers is that they are stain-resistant. Porcelain veneers will retain their original color for many years, unlike your natural teeth, which may become stained over time from coffee, tea, wine, and other foods and drinks.
How Long Will Porcelain Veneers Last?
Veneers are a beautiful and long-lasting solution for patients. The average lifespan of veneers is around 10 to 15 years, depending on the case. Reasonable care will extend your treatment tremendously. Continue visiting your dentist twice each year for cleanings and checkups.
How Are Porcelain Veneers Placed?
The porcelain veneers procedure takes two trips to our office. The first part of the porcelain veneer process is to prepare the teeth and take an impression. Then, we will send that mold to a dental laboratory for processing. While waiting for your new permanent veneers to arrive, we may need to use temporary veneers. Once we have gotten your custom veneers back from the lab, you will return to the dental office. We will then apply the permanent veneers to your natural teeth by bonding them with dental cement.“I have been a patient of Dr. G’s for close to twenty years and have always been extremely pleased with his excellent dental skills… As well as with the abilities and friendliness of his entire dental staff! “– L.P.
